하회마을

안동시 풍천면에 있는 민속마을로 풍산 류씨 집안의 발상지이며 그들의 자손들이 여기에 머물러 있다. 이중환은 택리지에서 '강거의 제일은 평양이요, 계승의 제일은 하회'라고 극찬하였다. 문화재로 지정된 건축물들은 보물 2점, 국가민속문화재 9점 등을 포함하여 11점이고 이밖에 국보 2점이 있다.

Hahoe Folk Village

The Hahoe Folk Village is a traditional village from the Joseon Dynasty. The village is located in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The 'Ha' is short for river and 'hoe' means to 'turn around, return, come back.
