깡깡이예술마을

깡깡이예술마을은 부산 자갈치시장 건너편, 영도대교, 남항대교와 맞닿은 곳에 자리 잡고 있는 버선형상의 마을로 이곳은 예로부터 수리조선소 마을로 널리 알려져 있으며, 19세기 후반 우리나라 최초로 발동기를 사용해 배를 만든 '다나카 조선소'가 세워졌던 한국 근대 조선산업의 발상지이다. 2016년부터 깡깡이예술마을 조성사업을 추진하여 낡은 벽면을 보수하고 색과 선, 단순화된 이미지를 활용한 독특한 페인팅 시티-월아트(벽화) 프로젝트 등 공공예술 프로젝트를 통한 도시재생 사업 추진으로 재조명되고 있다.

Kangkangee Village
