흰여울 문화마을

흰여울길은 예전에 봉래산 기슭에서 여러 갈래의 물줄기가 바다로 굽이쳐 내림으로써 마치 흰눈이 내리는 듯 빠른 물살의 모습과 같다하여 흰여울길이라 한다. 흰여울길 주변일대를 제2송도라 일컫는다. 바다 건너편 암남동의 송도를 제1송도라 하고 마주 보고 있는 이곳을 제2송도라 하였다. 영화 '변호인‘, ’범죄와의 전쟁', '첫사랑 사수 궐기대회' 등 수많은 작품의 촬영지로도 유명하다. 2011년 12월 공.폐가를 리모델링하여 지역 예술가의 창작의욕을 북돋우고, 영도 구민들로 하여금 생활 속 문화를 만나게 하는 독창적인 문화․예술 마을로 거듭났다.

Huinnyeoul Cluture Village

Hinyeoul Cultural Village is a small settlement formed by the refugees of the Korean War. The village gained its name when Yeongdo District renovated old deserted houses into creative spaces in 2011. Since 2015, the artists and residents of the village has been holding an alley art festival to promote and share arts and regional cultures.
