기장붕장어축제 (부산 기장군)

붕장어는 필수 아미노산 및 고도불포화지방산인 EPA와 DHA가 풍부하며 비타민 A, B, E가 많이 함유되어 있다. 자연산으로 연중 즐길 수 있어 기장의 명물 먹거리다. 붕장어는 기장군 대표적인 특산물로 격년제로 칠암항, 신암항에서 기장붕장어축제가 열리며 맨손으로 붕장어잡기 체험, 무료시식회, 별신굿, 불꽃놀이 등 다채로운 행사가 펼쳐진다.

붕장어 (아나고)

붕장어는 붕장어과에 속하는 물고기이다. 뱀장어와 닮았지만, 뱀장어는 작은 비늘이 피부에 나있는 반면 붕장어와 곰치는 비늘이 없다.

Whitespotted Conger

The whitespotted conger(Japanese name: ma-anago) is a conger eel, widespread in the Northwest Pacific near the coasts of Japan, Korean Peninsula, and the East China Sea. C. myriaster inhabits shallow sea bottom sand and mud. It is also consumed as food and is a common item on menus in Japan and abroad as anago. Its maximum total length is 100 cm.
