수로왕릉

수로왕은 서기 42년 가락국의 시조로 왕위에 올라 서기 48년 인도의 야유타국 公主 허황옥을 왕비로 맞았으며 김해 김씨의 시조이다. 왕릉은 선조 13년(1580)에 영남관찰사 허엽이 능을 지금의 모습으로 단장하였다.

Tomb of King Suro

King Suro founded the Garak Kingdom in A.D. 42 and married Heo Hwang-ok, a princess from the Indian country of Ayuta, in A.D. 48. He was the founder of the Gimhae Kim family. Heo Yeop, a Yeongnam governor, gave the tomb its current look in the 13th year of the reign of King Seonjo (1580).
