1912년 하계 올림픽

1912년에 스웨덴의 스톡홀름에서 개최된 제5회 하계 올림픽이다. 이집트, 아이슬란드, 일본, 포르투갈, 세르비아 5개국이 처음으로 하계 올림픽에 참가했다. 오스트레일리아, 뉴질랜드는 오스트랄라시아 선수단을 결성하여 대회에 참가했다.

1912 Summer Olympics

The 1912 Summer Olympics were an international multi-sport event held in Stockholm, Sweden, between 5 May and 22 July 1912. Twenty-eight nations and 2,408 competitors, including 48 women, competed in 102 events in 14 sports. With the exception of tennis (starting on 5 May) and football and shooting (both starting on 29 June), the games were held within a month with an official opening on 6 July.
