판공 호수

판공 호수는 인도 잠무카슈미르주 레에서 북서쪽으로 290km 떨어진 해발 4,350m 고지에 위치해 있으며, 134km의 크기로 인도와 중국에 걸쳐있는 아시아 최대의 기수호이다. 인도의 가장 큰 관광지 중 하나이며, 람사르 협약으로 국제적으로도 중요한 습지로 선정되었며 이는 서남아시아의 최초이다.

Pangong Tso

Pangong Tso, Tibetan for "high grassland lake", also referred to as Pangong Lake, is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m (14,270 ft). It is 134 km (83 mi) long and extends from India to China. Approximately 60% of the length of the lake lies in China.
