충견 하치코
충견 하치코는 아키타현 오다테 시의 아키타 견으로 충견으로 알려진 개이다. 사망한 주인을 도쿄의 시부야 역 앞에서 약 9년 동안 기다린 것으로 잘 알려져 있다. 하치코가 태어난 오다테 시의 오다테 역과 살았던 도쿄도 시부야 구의 시부야 역에 동상이 세워져 있다.

Hachikō was an Akita dog born on a farm near the city of Ōdate, Akita Prefecture, Japan. He is remembered for his remarkable loyalty to his owner, Hidesaburō Ueno, for whom he continued to wait for over nine years following his death.
