상하이 대극원

상해 대극원은 아시아 최대 규모의 극장이자 세계 정상급의 극장이다. 상해 대극장은 인민광장 서북쪽에 있다. 극장 내에는 세 개의 극장이 있다. 객석 1800석의 주 극장은 발레, 오페라, 교향곡 등을 공연할 때 주로 사용된다. 주 극장의 무대는 728평방미터의 전면 무대와 360평방미터의 후면 무대 두 개의 257평방미터의 측면 무대로 구성되어 있다. 앞, 뒤, 위, 아래 이동과 회전이 가능한 무대와 승·하강이 가능한 오케스트라 박스, 그리고 전동 지브 시설을 갖추고 있다. 이 무대는 아시아에서 가장 큰 세계 정상급 무대 중 하나이다.

Shanghai Grand Theatre

The Shanghai Grand Theatre is one of the largest and best-equipped automatic stages in the world. Since the theatre opened on August 27, 1998, it has staged over 6,000 performances of operas, musicals, ballets, symphonies, chamber music concerts, spoken dramas and various Chinese operas. The site is located at the intersection of Central Boulevard and Huangpi Road South in the northern part of the People's Square in Huangpu District, Shanghai.
