표트르 1세 (1672-1725)

표트르 1세 알렉세예비치는 러시아 제국 로마노프 왕조의 황제였다. 표트르 대제로 불리기도 한다. 표트르 1세는 서구화 정책과 영토 확장으로 루스 차르국을 러시아 제국으로 성립했다.

Peter the Great, Peter I 1682 until his death in 1725, jointly ruling before 1696 with his elder half-brother, Ivan V. Through a number of successful wars, he expanded the Tsardom into a much larger empire that became a major European power.
