알펜 동물원

노르트케테 케이블카를 타면 도심부터 산 정상까지 단 20분 만에 도착할 수 있다. 케이블카는 구시가지에서 출발하여 오스트리아 최대의 자연 공원까지 이동한다. 중간역인 알프스 동물원 알파인주(Alpine Zoo) 역 에서는 알프스에 사는 동물들의 모습을 엿볼 수 있다. 유럽에서 가장 높은 곳에 위치한 알펜 동물원은 알프스에 서식하고 있는 포유류, 조류, 파충류, 양서류, 그리고 알프스에 서식하는 거의 모든 종의 물고기를 볼 수 있다.

Alpenzoo

Alpenzoo Innsbruck is a zoo located in the town Insbruck, in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is one of the highest elevation zoos in Europe. Founded 22 September 1962 by the Austrian zoologist Hans Psenner, Alpenzoo became famous because of reintroduction of endangered species like the bearded vulture, Alpine ibex, and northern bald ibis in the wild.
