차트라파티 시바지 역

뭄바이에 있는 차트라파티 시바지 역은 과거에 빅토리아 역이라고 불렸다. 인도 빅토리아 고딕건축 양식을 대표하는 건축물로, 인도의 전통 건축에서 유래된 주제와 잘 어울린다. 영국의 건축가 프레더릭 윌리엄 스티븐스가 설계하였다. ‘고딕 도시’라고 불리며 인도의 주요 국제 무역항인 뭄바이를 상징한다.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (station code: CSMT), formerly known as Victoria Terminus, is a historic railway station and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India which serves as the headquarters of the Central Railways. The station was designed by Frederick William Stevens according to the concept of Victorian Italianate Gothic Revival architecture and meant to be a similar revival of Indian Goth (classical era) architecture.
