벨기에 만화센터

벨기에 만화센터는 벨기에 만화의 역사를 전시하고 있으며, 브뤼셀에 위치한다. 공상 과학, 서부, 범죄, 정치, '스머프'와 같은 어린이 만화 등 여러 장르를 다루고 있다. 박물관은 브뤼셀의 상업 지구 백화점이였던 건물 Magasins Waucquez에 있으며, 프랑스어, 독일어, 영어로 전시하고 있다. 벨기에에서 가장 유명한 만화 캐릭터 땡땡의 저자인 에르제에 관해서도 전시되고 있다.

Belgian Comic Strip Center

The Belgian Comic Strip Center is a museum in Brussels, Belgium, dedicated to Belgian comics. It is located at 20, rue des Sables/Zandstraat, in an Art Nouveau building designed by Victor Horta, and can be accessed from Brussels-Congress railway station and Brussels Central Station.

땡땡의 모험

땡땡의 모험 또는 틴틴의 대모험은 벨기에의 만화 작가 에르제가 연재한 만화로, 탐방 기자 땡땡과 그의 개 밀루가 전 세계를 모험한다는 내용의 만화다. 1929년 벨기에의 "르 벵티엠 시에클" 신문의 어린이 부록에서 연재를 시작해 1930년 첫 권이 출판되었고, 총 24권이 출판되었다. 50개 언어로 60개국에서 판매되어 만화계의 고전으로 자리잡았다.

The Adventures of Tintin

The Adventures of Tintin is a series of 24 bande dessinée albums created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé. The series was one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century. By 2007, a century after Hergé's birth in 1907, Tintin had been published in more than 70 languages with sales of more than 200 million copies, and had been adapted for radio, television, theatre and film.

개구쟁이 스머프

개구쟁이 스머프는 벨기에의 작가인 페요가 만들어낸 만화 캐릭터다. 스머프들은 유럽의 어느 숲에 살고 있으며 하늘색의 몸 색깔에 하얀 모자와 바지를 입는, 의인화된 작은 캐릭터들로 묘사된다. 원작을 기초로 해서 미국의 해나 바베라에서 1981년에 제작한 텔레비전용 애니메이션 시리즈로도 유명하다. 대한민국에서는 KBS에서 '개구쟁이 스머프'라는 이름으로 방영한 바 있다. 당시 스머프 만화가 공산주의적인 이상향을 그린다는 이유로 수입이 불허되었으나, 미국 제작사의 요구로 방영되었다고 한다.

The Smurfs

The Smurfs is a Belgian comic franchise centered on a fictional colony of small, blue, humanoid creatures who live in mushroom-shaped houses in the forest. The Smurfs was first created and introduced as a series of comic characters by the Belgian comics artist Peyo in 1958, wherein they were known as Les Schtroumpfs. There are more than 100 Smurf characters, and their names are based on adjectives that emphasise their characteristics, such as "Jokey Smurf", who likes to play practical jokes on his fellow smurfs.
