케나이 국립 야생동물 보호지역은 1941년에 Kenai National Moose Range로 창설 되었지만 1980년에 알래스카 국립 관심 토지 보존법 (National Interest Land Conservation Act)에 의해 현재 상태로 변경되었다.
Kenai National Wildlife Refuge
The Kenai National Wildlife Refuge is a 1.92-million-acre (7,770 km2) wildlife preserve located on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska, United States. It is adjacent to Kenai Fjords National Park.
