Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

This park takes its name from the awe-inspiring Royal Gorge outside of Cañon City. Start by taking a less-than-casual stroll across one of the world’s highest suspension bridges, which sits over 1,000 feet above the Arkansas River. From there, you can see the other thrills Royal Gorge has to offer. Young visitors will love the carousel and kids’ playground, and thrill-seekers can test their nerve by soaring 1,200 feet above the ground on America’s highest zipline. In between it all, everyone will love the postcard-worthy views of the surrounding canyon.
