알베르트 아인슈타인은 독일 태생의 스위스와 미국의 이론물리학자이다. 그의 일반 상대성이론은 현대 물리학에 혁명적인 지대한 영향을 끼쳤다. 또한 1921년 광전효과에 관한 기여로 노벨 물리학상을 수상하였다.
