반고양이

터키의 반(Van) 호수 일대가 원산지인 고양이의 한 품종이다. 반 고양이가 처음 태어났을때는 회색 빛깔의 눈을 갖고 태어나지만 생후 25일째부터 차츰차츰 눈 색깔이 변하기 시작해 생후 40여일이 지나면 호박색이나 터키석색이나 오드아이로 변하게 된다.

Van cat

The Van cat is a distinctive landrace of domestic cat, found in the Lake Van region of eastern Turkey. It is relatively large, has a chalky white coat, sometimes with ruddy coloration on the head and hindquarters, and has blue or amber eyes or is odd-eyed (having one eye of each colour).
