소치칼코 고고 기념물 지대
멕시코의 모렐로스(Morelos) 주에 있는 고고 유적 소치칼코는 테오티우아칸·몬테 알반·팔렌케·티칼 등의 대형 메소아메리카 국가들이 붕괴한 직후 혼란에 빠졌던 650년~900년에 정치·종교·상업 중심지로서의 모습이 예외적으로 잘 보존된 요새 도시이다.

Xochicalco
Xochicalco is a pre-Columbian archaeological site in Miacatlán Municipality in the western part of the Mexican state of Morelos. The name Xochicalco may be translated from Nahuatl as "in the house of Flowers". The site is located 38 km southwest of Cuernavaca, about 76 miles by road from Mexico City.
