산타 마리아호
콜럼버스가 대서양 횡단에 사용한 기함이다. 산타 마리아는 콜럼버스가 직접 탑승한 기함으로서 카락선으로 콜럼버스의 함대내에서는 최대급이었다. 1492년 12월 24일에 히스파니올라 섬에서 좌초하여 해체된 후, 남은 목재는 요새의 건설에 쓰였다.

La Santa María was the largest of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus in his first voyage. Her master and owner was Juan de la Cosa. Santa María was built in Pontevedra, Galicia, in Spain's north-west region.
