BIFF 광장

남포동 극장가가 극장들로 자리 잡게 된 것은 8·15해방 후 극장이 한 두 군데 생기면서부터 60년대에 이르러 20여 개소의 극장이 이곳에 밀집되어 있었던 것에서 시작된다. BIFF광장은 부산국제영화제의 중심무대인 부산시 중구 남포동, 부평동 일원이다. 지난 1996년부터 부산국제영화제가 개최되면서 극장가를 새롭게 단장하고 그 일대를 BIFF광장('11.2.24)으로 명명하게 되었다.

BIFF Square

PIFF Square confirms Busan as a city of cinema. The cinemas of Nampo-dong are located in this plaza, where you can enjoy movies, shopping and entertainment. A circular stage and the hand prints of world-renowned movie celebrities set into the pavement of the plaza are reminders of the fact that this was the main venue of the Busan Internationa l Film Festival
