프레데리크 쇼팽 (1810-1849)

프레데리크 프랑수아 쇼팽은 폴란드의 피아니스트·작곡가이다. “피아노의 시인” 이란 별칭을 가진 쇼팽은 가장 위대한 폴란드의 작곡가이자 가장 위대한 피아노곡 작곡가 중의 한 사람으로 여겨진다.

Frederic Chopin (1810-1849)

Frédéric François Chopin was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic era who wrote primarily for solo piano. He has maintained worldwide renown as a leading musician of his era, one whose "poetic genius was based on a professional technique that was without equal in his generation.

쇼팽 생가

쇼팽의 생가는 바르샤바에서 서쪽으로 약 54km 떨어진 젤라조바 볼라(Zelazowa Wloa)라는 작은 마을안에 있다. 프레데릭 쇼팽이 1810년에 태어난 곳이었으나 제2차 세계대전 중에 파괴되었다가 복구되었다. 지금은 박물관으로 개조되어 쇼팽의 사진과 악보, 악기, 가구 등을 전시하고 있다. 여름철에는 쇼팽을 기념하는 피아노 콘서트가 열린다.

Birthplace of Frederic Chopin

The very first connotation of the village was the document of 1579, in which Mikołaj and Piotr Żelazo were mentioned as the owners of Żelazowa Wola. In the end of 18th century Piotr Łuszczewski, and next Paprockis family were the owners. There were eight houses in the village that time.
