에르제 (1907-1983)

에르제는 벨기에 브뤼셀 출신의 만화가다. '에르제'는 필명이고 본명은 조르주 프로스페르 르미이다. 만화 《땡땡의 모험》시리즈를 그린 것으로 유명하며, 초기 유럽 만화계에 막대한 영향력을 끼쳤기 때문에 "유럽 만화의 아버지" 라고 불린다.

Hergé (1907-1983)

Hergé, from the French pronunciation of his reversed initials RG, was a Belgian cartoonist. He is best known for creating The Adventures of Tintin, the series of comic albums which are considered one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century. He was also responsible for two other well-known series, Quick & Flupke (1930–1940) and The Adventures of Jo, Zette and Jocko (1936–1957). His works were executed in his distinct ligne claire drawing style.

땡땡의 모험

땡땡의 모험 또는 틴틴의 대모험은 벨기에의 만화 작가 에르제가 연재한 만화로, 탐방 기자 땡땡과 그의 개 밀루가 전 세계를 모험한다는 내용의 만화다. 1929년 벨기에의 "르 벵티엠 시에클" 신문의 어린이 부록에서 연재를 시작해 1930년 첫 권이 출판되었고, 총 24권이 출판되었다. 50개 언어로 60개국에서 판매되어 만화계의 고전으로 자리잡았다.

The Adventures of Tintin

The Adventures of Tintin is a series of 24 bande dessinée albums created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé. The series was one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century. By 2007, a century after Hergé's birth in 1907, Tintin had been published in more than 70 languages with sales of more than 200 million copies, and had been adapted for radio, television, theatre and film.

Hergé Museum

The Musée Hergé, or Hergé Museum, is a museum in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, dedicated to the life and work of the Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé, creator of the series of comic albums, The Adventures of Tintin. The museum is located in the centre of Louvain-la-Neuve, on the edge of a green park, Le Parc de la Source. Its address is "Rue Labrador 26", Tintin's first home in the books. It was designed by the French architect Christian de Portzamparc, with interiors designed by the cartoonist Joost Swarte, and opened in June 2009. It consists of three floors with a total of nine exhibition rooms, a café, museum shop and mini cinema.
