프티 뵈르 (LU)

프랑스 어린이들의 국민 간식, 프티 뵈르(Petit Beurre)는 낭트를 대표하는 명물로 1886년에 처음 탄생한 비스킷이다. 4개의 모서리부터 먹는 프랑스인들의 전통이 있다. 프티 뵈르는 모서리까지 포함해 총 52개의 "이빨"을 가지고 있는데 이는 한해의 52주를 뜻합니다. 모서리인 4개의 "귀"는 사계절을 상징한다.

LU (biscuits)

efèvre Utile, better known worldwide by the initials LU, is a French manufacturer brand of biscuits, emblematic of the city of Nantes. The brand is now part of US confectionery company Mondelēz International since 2012, after splitting of its previous owner Kraft Foods Inc., which had acquired it as part of its acquisition from Groupe Danone in 2007.
