한성 백제 박물관

서울은 678년의 백제 역사 중 493년 간 백제의 수도였으며, 현재 서울에는 풍납토성과 몽촌토성, 석촌동 고분군 등 백제 한성기의 핵심 유적들이 곳곳에 남아있고, 출토된 유물만도 수만 여점에 이른다. 이러한 유적과 유물을 체계적으로 보존, 관리하여 관광자원, 문화기반 시설을 구축하며 수도 서울의 2천년 역사를 재조명함으로써 문화정체성을 확립하기 위해 몽촌토성이 바라보이는 올림픽공원 내에 한성백제박물관을 건립하였다.

Seoul Baekje Museum

Based on the natural silhouette of the nearby Mongchontoseong, the appearance of Seoul Baekje Museum was shaped a ship of Baekje in honor of Baekje. Seoul Baekje Museum is a civic lifelong education center with an emphasis on the educational role. There are a variety of Baekje artifacts and vividly embodied materials on ancient history of the Korean peninsula.
