2016년 하계 올림픽

2016년 하계 올림픽 또는 리우데자네이루 하계 올림픽은 2016년 8월 5일부터 8월 21일까지 브라질의 리우데자네이루에서 개최된 제31회 하계 올림픽이다. 올림픽 역사상 남아메리카에서 개최된 첫 번째 올림픽이다. 브라질에서는 2014년 FIFA 월드컵에 이어 2회 연속으로 열리는 대규모 스포츠 대회가 되었다.

2016 Summer Olympics

The 2016 Summer Olympics was an international multi-sport event that was held from 5 to 21 August 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with preliminary events in some sports beginning on 3 August. These were the first Olympic Games ever to be held in South America and the third to be held in a developing country, after the 1968 games in Mexico City and the 1988 games in Seoul, South Korea.
