2006년 동계 올림픽

2006년 동계 올림픽은 이탈리아 토리노에서 2006년 2월 10일부터 2월 26일까지 개최된 동계 올림픽이다. 80개 나라가 참가한 이 대회에서 알바니아, 에티오피아, 마다가스카르 3개국이 처음으로 동계 올림픽에 참가했다. 대한민국과 조선민주주의인민공화국은 동계 올림픽 역사상 최초로 개막식에서 한반도기를 들고 동시에 입장했다.

2006 Winter Olympics

The 2006 Winter Olympics was a winter multi-sport event which was held in Turin, Piedmont, Italy from February 10 to 26, 2006. This marked the second time that Italy had hosted the Winter Olympic Games, the first being the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Italy also hosted the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome. Turin was selected as the host city for the 2006 Games in June 1999.
