쌍십협정 (雙十協定, 중경담판)

1945년 10월 10일 중화민국 대표와 중국 공산당 대표의 회의록 10월 10일에 맺어졌다고 하여 쌍십협정이라는 명칭으로 불린다. 1945년 8월 29일부터 10월 10일까지 43일 동안 중국 공산당 대표와 국민당 정부 대표들이 중경에서 협상을 진행한 끝에 합의한 평화협정이었지만 구체적인 조치의 미비와 쌍방의 뿌리깊은 적대감으로 국공내전을 막는대는 실패하였다.

Double Tenth Agreement (1945.10.10)

The Double Tenth Agreement, formally known as the Summary of Conversations Between the Representatives of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China, was an agreement between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China that was concluded on 10 October 1945 after 43 days of negotiations. Mao Zedong and United States Ambassador to China Patrick J. Hurley flew together to Chungking on 27 August 1945 to begin the negotiations.
