탕롱 왕궁

탕롱 왕궁은 베트남 하노이에 있는 왕궁이다. 베트남의 역대 왕조들은 이 곳에 수도를 두었다. 응우옌 왕조는 안남의 후에를 왕도로 삼았으나 프랑스 통치 시대에는 1887년부터 1954년까지 식민지 기간에 이 곳에 통킹 지방의 정청을 두어 행정의 중심으로 삼았다.

Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long

The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is located in the centre of Hanoi, Vietnam. It is also known as Hanoi Citadel. The royal enclosure was first built during the Lý Dynasty (1010) and subsequently expanded by the Trần, Lê and finally the Nguyễn Dynasty. It remained the seat of the Vietnamese court until 1810, when the Nguyen Dynasty chose to move the capital to Huế. The ruins roughly coincide with the Hanoi Citadel today.
