1960년부터 시작된 할리우드 명예의 거리는 영화, TV, 음악, 라디오, 연극 등 5개 분야에서 뛰어난 업적을 남긴 인물들을 새겨져 있다. 한국 배우로는 안성기, 이병헌이 TCL 차이니즈 극장 앞마당에 손도장과 발도장을 남겼다. 가장 인기 있는 구역은 TCL 차이니즈 극장과 돌비 극장 앞으로 가장 유명한 스타들의 별이 집중되어 있는 황금 구역이다. 실존 인물뿐만 아니라 미키 마우스, 도널드 덕, 고질라 같은 가상 캐릭터와 아폴로 11호 우주비행사들을 기리는 특별한 별도 찾아보는 재미가 있다.
Hollywood Walk of Fame
The Hollywood Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,600 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others.
