사무이섬

사무이 섬은 태국 끄라 지협 동해안 수랏타니 주의 섬이다. 이 지방 사람들은 간단히 줄여서 ‘사무이’라고 부른다. 태국에서 세 번째로 큰 섬이며, 228.7 km2의 면적과 2008년을 기준으로 인구 5만명을 가지고 있다. 자연 자원이 풍부하며, 하얀 모래 해변과 산호초 그리고 코코넛 나무들이 아름다운 풍광을 연출한다.

Ko Samui

Ko Samui is an island off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus, Thailand. Geographically in the Chumphon Archipelago, it is part of Surat Thani Province, though as of 2012, Ko Samui was granted municipal status and thus is now locally self-governing.
