그리니치 해변

런던 외곽의 그리니치에 있는 건물들과 이 건물이 있는 공원은 17세기에서 18세기 영국의 예술과 과학의 노력을 상징한다. 이니고 존스가 건축한 퀸스하우스는 영국 최초의 팔라디오 양식 건축물이었다. 퀸스하우스와 복합 건물을 이루는 건물은 크리스토퍼 렌이 설계한 것으로 최근까지 왕립해군사관학교로 사용하였다.

Maritime Greenwich

The ensemble of buildings at Greenwich, an outlying district of London, and the park in which they are set, symbolize English artistic and scientific endeavour in the 17th and 18th centuries. The Queen's House (by Inigo Jones) was the first Palladian building in England, while the complex that was until recently the Royal Naval College was designed by Christopher Wren.
