요한 슈트라우스 1세 (1804-1849)

요한 슈트라우스 1세는 오스트리아의 작곡가이다. '왈츠의 왕'으로 불리는 같은 이름의 요한 슈트라우스 2세의 아버지다. 1819년 런너와 4중주단을 만들었으나, 1825년에는 독자적 악단을 창설하고, 다음해에 최초의 왈츠를 발표하였다.
