마요르 광장

마요르 광장은 스페인 마드리드에 있는 광장이다. 푸에르타 델 솔 및 빌라 광장에서 몇 블록 떨어진 거리에 있다. 129m × 94m의 직사각형 모양을 하고 있으며 광장에 접해있는 237개의 발코니를 가진 3층 건물에 둘러싸여있다.

Plaza Mayor, Madrid

The Plaza Mayor was first built (1580–1619) during Philip III's reign and is a central plaza in the city of Madrid, Spain. It is located only a few Spanish blocks away from another famous plaza, the Puerta del Sol. The Plaza Mayor is rectangular in shape, measuring 129 m × 94 m, and is surrounded by three-story residential buildings having 237 balconies facing the Plaza.

펠리페 3세 (1578-1621)

펠리페 3세는 스페인의 국왕 겸 포르투갈의 국왕이다. 포르투갈에서는 필리프 2세로 불린다. 스페인의 펠리페 2세와 그의 네 번째 아내이자 조카딸인 안나의 아들이다. 펠리페 3세는 자신과 같은 합스부르크 왕가의 일족이자 신성 로마 제국의 페르디난드 2세 황제의 누이인 오스트리아의 마르가리타와 혼인하였다.

Felipe III

Felipe III (14 April 1578 – 31 March 1621) was King of Spain. He was also, as Philip II, King of Portugal, Naples, Sicily and Sardinia and Duke of Milan from 1598 until his death. A member of the House of Habsburg, Philip III was born in Madrid to King Philip II of Spain and his fourth wife and niece Anna, the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian II and Maria of Spain.
