부평깡통시장 (부산)

6.25후 미군이 들어오면서 군용 물자와 함께 온갖 상품들이 밀수입되었다. 특히 과일, 생선 등 갖가지 통조림이 많이 수입되었는데 이후 시장의 이름이 깡통시장이 되었다고 한다. 현재는 다양하고 많은 제품의 수입이 허가되면서 시장이 다소 위축되기는 했지만 아직도 그 명성과 저력은 여전히 느낄 수 있는 명소이다. 초창기 미군부대에서 흘러나온 통조림등 깡통제품을 많이 판매한데서 붙여진 이름이지만 지금은 위스키 의류 장식품 액세서리 패션 잡화와 미니카세트등 일부 외제 전자제품도 취급하고 있다.
