대변항 (부산 기장군)

대변항은 기장미역과 멸치회로 소문난 항구, 봄철이면 멸치축제로 불야성을 이루는 곳이지만 멸치철이 지난 겨울의 풍경은 더없이 호젓하다. 대변항의 등대 위로 떠오르는 일출을 보다 보면 아침 조업을 나가는 배들로 잠시 항구가 부산해지고 동이트면 바닷가 난전도 활기를 찾는다. 특히 활처럼 둥글게 휜 자그마한 포구는 어느 곳보다 포근하고 정감 있다. 대변항을 지나 다시 언덕길을 오르면 영화<친구>의 촬영장에 이른다. 영화 초반부에 어린 주인공 4명이 헤엄치며 놀던 장소다. 지금은 소공원으로 조성돼 길게 펼쳐진 갯바위 주변에서 데이트 나온 연인과 낚시꾼의 한가로운 겨울풍경을 엿 볼 수 있다.

Daebyeon Ports

In the port of Daebyeon, the smell of the sea is most refreshing. Daebyeon is famous for its sashimi restaurants particularly for its anchovy and swordfish sashimi dishes. There are many raw fish restaurants in Daebyeon and Muyang. To the cacophony of merchants’ cries and the splashing sound of the waves, try some fresh "hoe" (sashimi) at a re staurant here .
