북미정상회담 (2018.6.12)

북미정상회담은 2018년 김정은 국무위원장이 대한민국의 정의용 국가안보실장을 통해 미국의 대통령 도널드 트럼프에게 전달한 회담 제의를 도널드 트럼프 미국의 대통령이 수락하여, 싱가포르에서 열린 미국과 조선민주주의인민공화국 간의 정상회담이다. 2018년 6월 12일 현지 시간 오전 9시 싱가포르 카펠라 호텔에서 역사상 최초로 북미 정상 간 정상회담이 이루어졌다.

The 2018 North Korea–United States Singapore Summit, commonly known as the Singapore Summit, was a summit meeting between North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump, held at the Capella Hotel, Sentosa, Singapore, on 12 June 2018. It was the first-ever meeting between leaders of North Korea and the United States.
