로베스피에르 (1758-1794)

막시밀리앵 프랑수아 마리 이지도르 드 로베스피에르는 프랑스의 부르봉 왕조와 프랑스 대혁명기의 정치인, 철학자, 법률가, 혁명가, 작가이다. 프랑스 혁명을 주도한 혁명 정치가로, 법학자이기도 했다. 공포정치를 행하다가 되려 테르미도르의 쿠데타로 반대파에 의해 처형당했다.

Maximilien Robespierre (1758-1794)

Maximilien François Marie Isidore de Robespierre was a French lawyer and politician, as well as one of the best known and most influential figures associated with the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror. As a member of the Estates-General, the Constituent Assembly and the Jacobin Club, Robespierre was an outspoken advocate for the poor and for democratic institutions.
