아르투어 쇼펜하우어 (1788-1860)

쇼펜하우어는 자신이 칸트의 사상을 비판적으로 받아들였으며 칸트의 사상을 올바르게 계승했다고 확신했다. 당대의 인기 학자였던 헤겔, 피히테, 셸링 등에 대해서는 칸트의 사상을 왜곡하여 사이비이론을 펼친다며 비판했다....쇼펜하우어는 서양철학과 동양철학 간의 유사성을 말한 철학자이자 자신이 무신론자임을 노골적으로 표명한 독창적인 철학자로 손꼽힌다. 19세기 말에 유행하여 많은 사상가들에게 영향을 끼쳤다

Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)

Arthur Schopenhauer was a German philosopher. He is best known for his 1818 work The World as Will and Representation, which characterizes the phenomenal world as the product of a blind noumenal will. Building on the transcendental idealism of Immanuel Kant, Schopenhauer developed an atheistic metaphysical and ethical system that rejected the contemporaneous ideas of German idealism.
