니혼다이라

해발 307미터의 구릉지로, 일본 관광지 100선 콩쿠르에서 1위로 선정된 적이 있을 만큼 다원 너머로 보이는 후지 산, 시미즈 항, 이즈 반도, 미나미 알프스의 파노라마 전경은 실로 일본 제일이라고 할 수 있다. 산 정상 부근에는 2월부터 3월에 절정을 맞는 매화 정원, 3월 하순부터 피기 시작하는 벚꽃 등 볼거리가 가득하며 산 정상과 구노잔 도쇼구를 5분 간격으로 연결하는 니혼다이라 로프웨이가 운행되고 있는데 스루가 만의 아름다움과 사계절의 풍경을 즐길 수 있다.

Nihondaira

Nihondaira is a scenic area located in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka, Japan. A plateau at the centre of Shizuoka city, with a maximum altitude of 308m, Nihondaira is famous for its views of Mt. Fuji, the Izu Peninsula, the Japanese Southern Alps, Shimizu Port, and Suruga Bay. It was selected by the Tokyo Nichi Nichi Shimbun and Osaka Mainichi Shimbun. as one of the top 100 Landscapes of Japan in 1927.
