Nguom Ngao Cave
The name "Nguom Ngao" holds deep-rooted significance and is steeped in fascinating legends passed down through generations in the local community. In the Tay language, "Nguom" simply means cave, while "Ngao" means tiger. Together, "Nguom Ngao" stands for Tiger Cave.
According to an oral legend, the area surrounding the cave used to be inhabited by a significant number of tigers. Additionally, the locals share a belief that the sound of the water flowing within the cave resonates in a way that resembles the fierce roar of a tiger. Thus, it was named “Nguom Ngao Cave”.
