하인리히 하이네 (1797-1856)

하인리히 하이네는 유대계 독일의 시인이자 작가, 평론가, 기자이다. 신랄한 풍자와 비판의식, 허무.주의적인 경향이 강한 시와 사설을 남겼으며, 독일 정부의 미움을 받아 추방되기도 하였다. 괴테와 더불어 독일이 낳은 세계적인 시인이다.

Heinrich Heine

Christian Johann Heinrich Heine was a German poet, journalist, essayist, and literary critic. He is best known outside of Germany for his early lyric poetry, which was set to music in the form of Lieder by composers such as Robert Schumann and Franz Schubert. Heine's later verse and prose are distinguished by their satirical wit and irony.
