어롼비등대

어롼비등대는 대만 컨딩 최남단의 어롼비 공원 안에 위치해 있으며, 높이는 21.1m정도이다. 바다를 끼고 산책하기 좋아 관광객들이 많이 찾는 곳이다. '어롼'이란 바이완족 언어에서 '돛'을 의미하는데, 근처의 샹자오완에 돛과 비슷한 돌이 있어서 이름을 그렇게 지었다고 하며, '비'는 바다 옆에 높게 올라간 육지를 말한다. 바다에서 빛을 볼 수 있는 거리가 27.2km로 '동아시아의 빛'이라 불리고 있다.

Eluanbi Lighthouse

Eluanbi Lighthouse is a lighthouse located on Cape Eluanbi, the southernmost point of Taiwan, to the south of Hengchun in Pingtung County, Taiwan. Eluanbi Lighthouse is managed by the Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance, Taiwan. The lighthouse is built between the Pacific Ocean and the Taiwan Strait, facing toward the Luzon Strait.
