로르슈 수도원

카롤링거 왕조 시대에 부흥했던 로르슈(Lorsch)의 수도원에는 기념비적인 입구인 토어할레(Torhalle, ‘문지기의 집’이라는 뜻)가 있으며, 알텐뮌스터의 희귀한 건축 유적이 남아 있다. 이곳에는 카롤링거 왕조 시기의 조소 작품과 회화가 상당히 잘 보존되어 있다.

Lorsch Abbey

The Abbey of Lorsch is a former Imperial abbey in Lorsch, Germany, about 10 km east of Worms. It was one of the most renowned monasteries of the Carolingian Empire. Even in its ruined state, its remains are among the most important pre-Romanesque–Carolingian style buildings in Germany.
