시그널 힐

시그널 힐은 세인트 존스 항구로 들어오는 배를 위해 신호를 보냈던 곳으로 캐나다에서 두 번째로 큰 국립역사공원이다. 1897년 존 카봇의 뉴펀들랜드 발견 400주년과 빅토리아 여왕 통치를 기념하여 지어진 카봇타워에서 바라보는 대서양의 풍경은 아주 인상적이다.

Signal Hill, St. John's

Signal Hill is a hill which overlooks the city of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Due to its strategic placement overlooking the harbour, fortifications were built on the hill beginning in the mid 17th century.
