아크바르 (1542-1605)

아크바르는 무굴 제국을 통치한 제3대 황제이다. 아랍어로 위대하다는 의미를 지닌 아크바르라는 이름에 걸맞게 중앙 아시아에서 들어온 외지인이었던 조부 바부르가 세운 무굴 제국을 진정한 제국이란 이름에 걸맞은 국가로 발전시켜, 아크바르 대제란 이름으로 널리 알려졌다.

Akbar (1542-1605)

Muhammad Akbar‬ was the third Mughal emperor, who reigned from 1556 to 1605. Akbar succeeded his father, Humayun, under a regent, Bairam Khan, who helped the young emperor expand and consolidate Mughal domains in India.
