고마테스와라

고마테스와라는 인도 남부 카르나타카주 스라바나벨라골라의 빈디아기리 언덕에 위치한 17.5m의 자이나교 석상이다. Jain god Bahubali에게 헌정된 신상이다. 기원후 983년 정도에 지어졌으며 세계에서 가장 큰 입상 중 하나이다.

Gommateshwara statue

Gommateshwara Statue is a 57-foot (17 m) high monolithic statue located on Vindyagiri at Shravanbelagola in the Indian state of Karnataka. Vindyagiri Hill is one of the two hills in Shravanabelagola; the other is Chandragiri, which is also a seat of several ancient Jain centres, much older than Gommateshwara statue.
