눈표범

눈표범은 히말라야 산맥을 비롯하여 북부 및 중앙 아시아의 방대한 지역에 서식한다. 이 중 히말라야 산맥의 눈표범은 최대 5,500 미터 높이에 이르는 고산 지대에 살고 있으며 중국, 부탄, 네팔, 인도, 파키스탄, 아프가니스탄, 러시아, 몽골 등 12 개국에서 발견된다.

Snow leopard

The snow leopard or ounce is a large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central and South Asia. It is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species because the global population is estimated to number less than 10,000 mature individuals and decline about 10% in the next 23 years.
