안토닌 드보르자크 (1841.9.8-1904.5.1)

안토닌 레오폴트 드보르자크는 낭만주의 시대에 활동한 체코의 작곡가로, 관현악과 실내악에서 모국의 보헤미안적인 민속 음악적 작품성 풍색과 선율을 표현하였다. 베드르지흐 스메타나에 의하여 확립된 체코 민족주의 음악을 세계적으로 만든 음악가이다.

Antonín Leopold Dvořák was a Czech composer, one of the first to achieve worldwide recognition. Following the Romantic-era nationalist example of his predecessor Bedřich Smetana, Dvořák frequently employed rhythms and other aspects of the folk music of Moravia and his native Bohemia.

안토닌 드보르작 박물관

안토닌 드보르작 박물관은 프라하 시내에서 약 15분 거리에 있는 뉴타운의 북쪽에 위치해 있으며, 1층에서는 기념품 숍과 그의 유품, 편지, 악보, 생전에 그가 연주했던 비올라와 피아노 등이 전시되어 있고 2층은 콘서트 홀이 있다.
