1878년에 창단된 영국 잉글랜드 리버풀이 연고지인 프리미어 리그 소속 축구 클럽. 홈구장은 구디슨 파크. 풋볼 리그, 프리미어 리그 원년멤버고, 2023-24 시즌까지 잉글랜드 1부리그에 가장 많은 시즌[7]을 참여하고 있는 팀이며, 풋볼 리그 누적 승점 1위, 1부리그 누적 승점 3위의 명문 클럽이지만 21세기엔 트로피를 단 하나도 들어올리지 못해 위상이 많이 떨어진 클럽이다. 하지만 그럼에도 찬란한 과거의 기록과 깊은 역사로 현지에서도 상당히 알아주는 팀이다.

Everton Football Club is an English professional association football club based in Liverpool that competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football. The club was a founder member of the Football League in 1888, and has, as of August 2023, competed in the top division for a record 121 seasons, having missed only four top-flight seasons (1930–31, 1951–52, 1952–53, and 1953–54). After Arsenal, Everton is the club with the second-longest continuous presence in English top-flight football, and ranks third in the all-time points rankings. The club has won nine league titles, five FA Cups, one European Cup Winners' Cup and nine Charity Shields.
