클리블랜드 인디언스

클리블랜드 인디언스는 미국 오하이오주 클리블랜드를 연고지로 하는 프로 야구 팀이다. 메이저 리그 아메리칸 리그 중부 지구 소속이다. 팀의 이름은 이 팀에 소속되어 있던 메이저 리그 최초의 인디언 출신 선수인 루이스 소칼렉시스를 기리기 위해 지어졌다. 1894년에 창단되었다. 월드시리즈 우승은 총 2회(1920년, 1948년)했으며, 영화 메이저 리그로 화제가 되기도 한 적이 있었다.

The Cleveland Indians are an American professional baseball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Indians compete in Major League Baseball as a member club of the American League Central division. Since 1994, they have played at Progressive Field. The team's spring training facility is at Goodyear Ballpark in Goodyear, Arizona. Since their establishment as a major league franchise in 1901, the Indians have won two World Series championships: in 1920 and 1948, along with 10 Central Division titles and six American League pennants.
